EASTERN CAPE PITCHING
FAME Week Africa, in partnership with the Eastern Cape Development Corporation (ECDC) and the Eastern Cape Provincial Arts and Culture Council (ECPACC), is calling on film and television producers to submit projects for the ECDC Pitching Session 2026.
If you have a compelling feature film, short film or documentary that can showcase the Eastern Cape’s locations, talent and production potential, this is your opportunity to put your project in front of key industry stakeholders.
Shortlisted producers will be invited to pitch their projects during FAME Week Africa in Cape Town, creating an opportunity to showcase new stories while positioning the Eastern Cape as a destination for film and television production.
Projects presented through the platform may also be considered for potential funding through the Eastern Cape Film Investment Fund, subject to the Fund’s qualifying criteria, due diligence, available funding and ECDC’s assessment and approval processes. ECDC confirms that its Film Investment Fund supports qualifying productions shooting in the province, with a focus on investment, job creation and skills development.
We are looking for strong film and television projects that can make meaningful use of the Eastern Cape as a production destination.
