Terms and Conditions for FAME Week Africa Attendance

1. Registration and Payment

·       All attendees must pre-register and complete payment to secure their spot for the event. Registration on the day is available for professionals in relevant industries.

·       The event fee grants access to all official sessions, exhibits, and materials provided.

2. No Refund Policy

·       Registration fees are non-refundable under any circumstances including personal reasons, travel issues, health concerns, or external events.

3. Transfer of Registration

·       Attendees who cannot participate may transfer their registration to another individual.

·       Requests for registration transfers must be submitted in writing to the organizers by 25 August 2024

·       All transfers are subject to organizer approval and verification of the new delegate's qualifications.

4. Event Cancellation or Changes

·       Organizers reserve the right to alter the event schedule, location, or speakers if necessary.

·       If the event is cancelled by the organizers, registrants will receive a full refund. However, the organizers will not cover any other expenses like travel or accommodation.

5. Attendee Conduct

·       Attendees must behave professionally and respectfully towards all participants, staff, and property.

·       Engaging in harassment, disruptive behaviour, or violating event rules may result in expulsion without a refund.

6. Admission Policy

·       FAME Week Africa is open to pre-registered attendees and is not accessible to the general public.

·       Hosted Buyer program access is by invitation only.

·       Press badges are limited to Publishers, Editors, Journalists, Photographers, and Broadcasters, excluding advertising personnel and media sales representatives.

·       Badge sharing is prohibited and can result in removal from the event.

7. Identification Requirement

·       Attendees must carry valid photo ID (passport, photo-ID driving licence, or national identity card) which may be requested for verification.

8. Privacy and Data Usage

·       By registering, attendees consent to the collection and use of their data for event management purposes.

·       Personal information may be shared with third parties involved in the event for necessary services.

9. Photography and Recording

·       Official photographers and videographers will capture the event. These images and recordings may be used for future promotional purposes.

·       By attending, you consent to being filmed or photographed without compensation.

10. Liability Waiver

·       The organizers are not liable for personal injuries or property damage experienced during the event.

·       Attendees are responsible for their own safety and belongings.

11. Acceptance of Terms

·       Completing the registration signifies agreement to these terms and conditions.
