How do I apply to perform at FAME Week Africa?
Showcasing Artist applications open on 15 March 2023. Visit the Spotlight Showcase page for more information and to apply.

When do applications close?
Deadline: 31 May 2023 at 11:59pm SAST.

How are artists chosen to play at FAME Week Africa?
The FAME Week Africa Music programming team and additional team members listen to and evaluate the acts according to originality, technical ability, songwriting skills, career establishment, and overall artistry. Every application is reviewed and evaluated by multiple parties, then invitations are extended to those selected to perform. As FAME Week Africa receives a large number of applications each year, it is unfortunately not possible to invite and accommodate every great act who applies.

If selected to perform, will my act receive any compensation from FAME Week Africa?
If selected to showcase, each performing member of the act will receive a full access pass as a benefit for performing. Full access pass gives the act access to all official FAME Spotlight Showcases, conference programming, networking functions and more (unless otherwise noted).

If I am not selected to showcase, should I still come to FAME Week Africa?
Opportunities for performers do not stop at showcases. The Muziki Africa Conference offers informative panels, mentor sessions, artist and industry leader interviews.
