Netflix, the world's leading streaming entertainment service, has partnered with MIP Africa to bring the Producers' Meeting Hub area to life at the upcoming MIP Africa event, which will take place in Cape Town from 4-6 September 2023. As part of the partnership, Netflix will be hosting a cocktail party for the producers on 5 September at 4pm.

The Producers' Meeting Hub is a dedicated area at MIP Africa where producers can connect with potential partners, collaborators, and buyers. With Netflix's partnership, the area will feature enhanced networking opportunities and will be a key destination for industry professionals looking to connect and do business.

Africa is an incredibly rich and diverse continent with a wealth of creative talent, and Netflix are excited to support the growth of the industry and connect with the next generation of African storytellers.

As part of its commitment to supporting the African creative industry, Netflix has already made significant investments in the region, including the production of several African Original series and films. The partnership with MIP Africa is another example of Netflix's dedication to growing and supporting the African creative community.

"We are delighted to have Netflix as our partner for the Producers' Meeting Hub," says Martin Hiller, Portfolio Director of FAME Week Africa. "Their commitment to the African creative industry is inspiring, and we are excited to work together to create a platform where African producers can connect, collaborate, and do business."

The cocktail party, which will be hosted by Netflix on 5 September at 4pm, will be an opportunity for producers to network and connect with their peers, as well as to learn more about Netflix's plans for the African market.
