Bridges for Music
Bridges For Music is a non-profit organisation established about 9 years ago with the aim of using the power of music to help young talents coming from disadvantaged communities. In 2019 they opened their first Bridges Academy in Langa, Cape Town. The objective of the Bridges Academy is to empower future creative leaders from disadvantaged backgrounds through a pioneering model that combines mindfulness, entrepreneurship, and 21st-century skills with special focus on creative industries and the gig economies. All delivered in a “state-of-the-art” facility by leading mentors and with music as the connecting thread of the community.

Creative Youth Festival
Creative Youth Festival celebrates the creative youth of South Africa, Africa and the world. The festival is aimed at youth empowerment, talent development, entrepreneurship and developing the next audience, as well as inspiring new creators in the arts industry.
Emerging Artists Programme
The Emerging Artists Programme is aimed at Cape Town based artists who’ve not had the benefit of resources, training and exposure as a result of historic inequality and under-development. The City’s Arts and Culture Department partners with organisations and initiatives across the city to develop programmes throughout the year.
